Corporate Clients

Today’s business environment demands effective and integrated employee benefit programs – that’s where we can help. We assist plan sponsors in the design and implementation of their traditional benefit programs, as well as the efficient and effective management of their fiduciary responsibility with respect to ERISA, the Pension Protection Act of 2006, and all applicable fee disclosure regulations. We are proud to have been operating in a fully fee-disclosed manner for nearly 10 years – well before the 408(b)(2) regulations of 2012 were implemented.

Through our partnerships with Group Insurance Associates (Woodbridge, Connecticut) and United Benefit Advisors (UBA), we provide thought leadership and best-in-class solutions designed to positively impact employers and make a difference in the lives of their employees and families. UBA’s state-of-the-art tools include the nation’s largest benchmarking survey of employer-sponsored health plans – and a host of other solutions that can boost your benefits and bolster your bottom line. UBA partners are independent advisory firms, not franchises or subsidiaries. FNL is proud to remain a family-owned firm that understands the local marketplace and the unique challenges you face as an employer. Our traditional benefit services include the negotiation and coordination of contracts, services, and renewals with vendors, human resources services, ongoing billing, and membership support for employers, and assistance to members as needed.

Robust Investment and Consulting Services

When it comes to managing your 401(k) plan, we oversee all aspects – the goals of human resources and finance, fiduciary responsibilities, industry and legislative issues, participant education, and service provider relationships. Our goal is to deliver a comprehensive suite of services to support the needs of you and your employees.

Our comprehensive services include:

  • Defining employee benefit goals and objectives in order to design innovative and flexible programs
  • Vendor selection and implementation of plans
  • Acting as a plan fiduciary, either as a 3(21) investment advisor or 3(38) investment manager
  • Providing ongoing assistance to plan sponsors and participants as needed
  • Meeting with at least 25 money managers and intermediaries annually to gather new ideas and information
  • Utilizing third party investment management tools to create our own customized reporting and analysis

From implementation to ongoing plan management, we are with you every step of the way. Together, we can develop a relationship plan that defines our road map for the year. In addition, we will deliver a customized Service Statement outlining what services we have agreed to provide and at what frequency these services will occur. You can depend on FNL to provide extensive guidance and unparalleled service on a year-round basis.
